Our Community
It was Senator Albert Beveridge from Indiana who first coined the term grassroots, declaring that the populist movement had “grown from the soil of people’s hard necessities.” Today, our political future relies more than ever on the actions of dedicated individuals working together to achieve change; but no grass can grow without a safe ground in which to put down roots.
At Twenty-First Century Democrats, we seek to provide such a home. We believe that your ideas can revolutionize politics and we invite you to share them with us and with each other.
Ours is a community of dreamers and of doers; let us work together to bring about our common hopes.
